The Inter-House Sports Meet is one of the most anticipated annual events in the Zahira College Matale calendar, bringing together students from all grade levels to compete in a spirit of unity, discipline and healthy sportsmanship. The Sports Meet features a wide range of track and field events, including sprints, relays, long jump, high jump, shot put and other competitive athletic disciplines. In addition to individual performances, the marching squads and house cheering teams play a significant role in building a vibrant and energetic atmosphere throughout the event.
House points are accumulated based on performance, participation and discipline, ultimately determining the Champion House of the year. Exceptional athletes are recognized with trophies, medals and certificates in both Junior and Senior categories.
